Craig Ferguson and Zach Braff Starred in a TV Pilot 25 Years Ago

Zach Braff went on Craig Ferguson last week to promote Oz, The Great and Powerful, and it was apparently the first time they'd seen each other in 25 years. Back in 1989, the two starred in High, a failed CBS pilot for a high school drama series that also starred Gwyneth Paltrow and Dana Barron from the first Vacation movie. Braff was 14 at the time, and it was his first acting job. Braff and Ferguson should reunite in another 25 years and talk about this talk show appearance then.

Zach Braff Sells ABC a Pop Star Sitcom

TV development season continues, and the latest person to sell a show is Zach Braff, star of Scrubs and Garden State (which he also wrote/directed). ABC has purchased a comedy to be written and directed by Braff called Garage Bar, and it follows a group of friends dealing with fame after one of them becomes a pop star, reports Deadline. No word yet on whether Zach Braff will star in the series, which, if it gets picked up, will be his first regular TV gig since leaving Scrubs in 2009. - On August 29, Zach Braff is rejoining his chocolate bear Donald Faison with a guest spot on The Exes, the TV Land show that Faison stars on with Wayne Knight. Hopefully, next The Exes will reunite the comedy duo of Wayne Knight and that dinosaur that spits acid.

- The Mindy Project has found their first love interest for Mindy in Tommy Dewey. The actor, who is mostly an unknown, will play a hotshot lawyer who is a real gets-what-he-wants type.
