On Please Stop Quoting These Comedies Forever Immediately

Ugh. My dad says "decroded piece of crap" at least daily and each time I want to throttle him.

On Please Stop Quoting These Comedies Forever Immediately

I'd like to add "Kids In The Hall" to the list of "Do Quote". About 3 people in 1000 will ever get the reference, but those 3 people will instantly become your best friend.

On Peter Serafinowicz: Inside Running Wilde's Too-Short Run

This was a tough show to get through, even watching it on Hulu where the ad breaks are minimal. On one hand there was outstanding performances by the cast and roll on the floor scenes like between Peter and Will (practically any scene they were in together was gold), and then there was the rest of it, which was so obviously dominated by network meddling that it was painful to watch. The product placement was incredibly awkward. The writing was obviously being torn in two directions (one by the genius of Mitch and the other by FOX) that resulted in a strange "reset button" between episodes. I liked the show, but Raising Hope just seemed to overshadow every night. Poor Wilde – never really had a chance. It's amazing that so many good shows, comedy and otherwise, have been born on the FOX network despite their propensity to meddle or cancel everything that doesn't immediately take on the popularity of Idol. If I was a writer/producer I'd be scared to take anything there.
