On Australia's Got Talent, Rampant Joke Thievery

"At the end of the day," this proves it's not how he delivers jokes. He went up there and did the same style delivery for his own jokes and bombed.

On On Norm Macdonald, the Greatest Talk Show Guest Ever

"…has the grace of a swan, the wisdom of an owl, and the eye of an eagle… ladies and gentlemen, this man is for the birds." I was just thinking of this joke today and how friggin' awesome it is. Thank you for writing this piece, Ben. This Conan interview alone deserves the attention.

What was up with the Situation? Did he try and put some of his own jokes in the mix or did the writers give him some stinkers on purpose?

On Let's Talk About Steve Carell's Office Replacement

All right, Frucci, I'll bite. I'm on the Will Arnett bandwagon; his comedic tendencies fit the show. Perfectly. It wouldn't matter who you brought in- if Gervais came on as David Brent and was the boss, even he would be different from the Michael Scott character. Mainly because he would talk differently. I don't know if that's what you were trying to say about the new boss, but that's what I'm saying you said. Don't worry about someone being different. You don't want someone to come on and try to be the "new" Michael Scott. Get someone who fits the show and can own a character (Arnett). Creed's brilliance is in random bits and cut-aways, too much of him would ruin the mystique. Gotta love Creed though. Now if you don't mind, I have to go snack on some nutritious mung bean sprouts.
