On Meet Kate McKinnon, SNL's Newest Castmember

@Annie G.S. I can't see her without imagining the scrunched-up, anger face she does in the Silky Bibs sketch. :D

On Mark Mothersbaugh on Rugrats

My Mark Mothersbaugh Pandora station never lets me down. Weird acoustics + synth + a bit of spooky can never fail! Great article!

On Hey Readers: What Do You Want to See More of on Splitsider?

Just want to add my voice to the "I read this every day but always forget to comment" crowd. I think I'm lucky in that you all review the only shows I really care about, so no complaints there! I do agree that the recaps are almost too recap-heavy, but I suppose it'd get a bit overwhelming and probably not very productive long-term to have in-depth analysis of each episode. Thanks for existing!

On Shit X Says: The State of a Meme at the End of Its Life (Hopefully)

The Seattle one is sadly true. :(

On 30 Rock Infographic Recap: "Idiots Are People Three!"/"The Ballad Of Kenneth Parcell"

I absolutely love 30 Rock (pretty much put it on Netflix every time I need something to watch), but I'm trying to figure out what about this season so far feels a bit off. I'm still enjoying it, but it's almost like the pacing has gotten weird or the literal space between jokes has changed drastically. Of course I'll keep watching! But I can't put my finger on it, and it's bugging me.

On Checking In...with the Voice Cast of Home Movies

So, so happy these are all on Netflix Instant Watch now. There's something oddly soothing about starting your day with HM.

On Modern Family Recap: "Good Cop Bad Dog"

This week's episode made me have a startling flashback of my own--to the first episode of the show. I remember thinking that the only reason I *wouldn't* watch this show was because of Phil's character. I had completely forgotten about that until I heard myself saying yesterday that he may be the best thing about the show, aside from Luke, to my roommates. Ty Burrell completely won me over. :)
