On Bad Ratings: Not Just for Community Anymore
I'm surprised that we haven't reached the point of always-on commercials, tucked to the side or bottom of the screen, like a news ticker, but with sponsor logos.

On Community Recap: “Virtual Systems Analysis”
I'd say it was the least funny episode of the show's entire run, because it definitely felt like A Very Special Episode. Considering how the show has examined every TV trope and cliche in some way, it only makes sense that it would tackle this concept at some point, and who other than Abed would fit that concept without ruining the character? I thought it was slickly made though, and is hopefully a turning point, where Abed is no longer the autistic kid, and is now just the quirky, pop culture-obsessed kid.

This might be a bit out there, but what about approaching Bo Burnham to join the cast? If Samburg leaves, they'd miss out on his musical contributions (one assumes Jorma and Akiva leave with him) and Burnham would bring his young audience and some really smart writing with him.

On Here Are This Week's SNL Promos, Featuring Sofia Vergara, Jason Sudeikis, and Sofia Vergara's Accent
When they announced her, it was the first thing I (and unfortunately the entire writing staff) thought of. These promos are a great harbinger of what is to come, as the worst episodes have had the worst promos (January Jones, Anna Faris, Lindsey Lohan). I have little hope for this episode.

I don't agree. Rant in E Minor is hysterical. I admit, I've watched him at times and not laughed, but Rant in E Minor is incredibly funny.
