On The Adventures of The Adventures of Pete & Pete
@ProfKlickberg But it's only the first two seasons. What if I get hooked and I can never watch the rest?

On The Adventures of The Adventures of Pete & Pete
I've never watched this because I was in college when it came out. I've heard it was good, but I always assumed it was good in a purely nostalgic way, not based on a quality of the show. This post has made me want to watch the entire series. I hope it comes out on DVD.

On The Origin and Early Programs of Comedy Central
@Dekkoparsnip I also watched The Comedy Channel pretty much exclusively as a teen, and I wholeheartedly second your request for an article on Just Say Julie.

On The 12 Days of Christmas Vacation
@Colin Perkins Agreed. Btw, I recently drove an hour and a half with an rocking chair strapped to the roof rack (upright, of course). I was so tempted to fashion an Aunt Edna to sit on top. Instead, I just giggled every time I saw my car's shadow.

On The 20 Specials of Christmas: Mystery Science Theater 3000: Santa Claus Conquers The Martians
"Droppo!" "Drop 'em!" I have this on DVD and I watch it every year. Head-butt!

On Looking Back at the Terrible Syndicated Sitcoms of the Late 1980s
@archbishop I liked the premise of Out of This World, but I knew it was a bad show. I watched it anyway because I had questions that needed to be answered, and because of the scheduling you mentioned, it was a complete surprise each time I came across it. I never understood how people could watch Small Wonder. I was only 11 when it came out and I still knew it was crap.

@Joshua Ungerleider I could never love someone who didn't love this movie. Such a person would be inhuman.

On The Adventures of The Adventures of Pete & Pete
@ProfKlickberg Good point. I'm not too savvy on that stuff anymore, though. I'll find a way.
