Do you think there might also be a shift in the causality of these commercials? For example, I can't be the Old Spice man, but I can be LIKE him if I use his body wash. Put simply, using the product magically transforms me. However, High Life makes no such promises–you're either a man or you're not and no amount of High Life can change that.
