On The Origin and Early Programs of Comedy Central

An "Audience of One" member checking in. (I still have my NIGHT AFTER NIGHT t-shirt around here somewhere...) I'm surprised that you left off a number of the original sketch shows that were Comedy Central through their early years like THE VACANT LOT, EXIT 57 (with Stephen Colbert and Amy Sedaris) and ALMOST LIVE, which gave us BIll Nye, the Science Guy, the High-Fivin' White Guys and Billy Kwan!

On Checking In...with the Cast of Clerks

Brian O'Halloran also starred in a rather dark and funny indie film entitled DROP DEAD ROSES, which needs to be seen by more people.

On Saturday Night’s Children: Chris Kattan (1996-2003)

Another movie that Katan's work was cut from was Norah Ephron's lottery-scam comedy LUCKY NUMBERS. I should know, as I was his stand in for the one scene he was to be in during location shooting in Harrisburg, PA. His character was a race horse jockey who John Travolta and Lisa Kudrow's characters go to as a possible middle-man to cash in the winning ticket they have for the lottery they rigged. His character gets mentioned earlier in the movie by Kudrow, but the actual scene was cut. I recall spending most of the two days I was on set chatting with Travolta's long-time stand in Tony, and recall him having some reservations about the previous film he and Travolta had just come off of - BATTLEGROUND EARTH!
