On Girls is the Whitest Show on Television, Other Than Every Other Show

@Joshua Ungerleider Exactly. Especially this group of characters. Throwing someone into this cast simply to add color would seem out of place and take away the realism that they are trying to create. There is a much stronger argument when it's a show like Friday Night Lights (which I loved) that is set in Texas but has no Latino main characters.

On Community Recap: “Virtual Systems Analysis”

I liked it, but this episode is Exhibit A in support of Chevy's voicemail message.

On We Might Hear Werewolf Bar Mitzvah Performed Live on April 26th

The time travel implications of young Tracy Jordan traveling to the future to serve as a PA on the show is an interesting new direction to the show. Inspector Spacetime cross-over?

On Get A Life: The Community of Its Time

@uncleezno Ultimately, you are right. But there should be a way around it. For folks trying to save a show, rather than doing a letter writing campaign (or sending in bananas or something else ), someone should just start an on-line pledge where signees state that they will do their absolute best to purchase products from the advertisers of the show. That would create a premium for the rates networks could charge for cult shows, if the signees would actually follow through enough to make a difference for the sponsor's bottom line. Even today, if I have to eat fast food, I still try to eat at Burger King, solely because of their promotional effort on Arrested Development. It's my little encouragement for them supporting the show.

On What Non-Comedy Songs Make You Laugh?

@Samantha Pitchel "Stop This Car, I'm Getting Out" is a good one too. As is "Dancing in a Lesbian Bar"

On What Non-Comedy Songs Make You Laugh?

You forgot about nearly ever Ween song. I'll nominate "Mister, Would You Please Help My Pony" first.

On What Non-Comedy Songs Make You Laugh?

The funniest cut from the Unreleased Basement Tapes session is when Dylan and the Band play "See You Later Alligator" but ad-lib a word change to "See You Later Alan Ginsberg." They're cracking each other up the whole song, but keep on playing.
