On Curb Your Enthusiasm Recap, "Palestinian Chicken"
This was a great episode! Though I'd say Sammi has had a mean streak in her ever since she decided she loved the family dog more than her own father.

I'll second this. The Comedy Nerds rock.

On Come Back, Mike Myers. We Love You
I feel like the Party is also a must-see for anybody interested in comedy. Yes, the notion of Sellers playing an Indian is offensive by today's standards, but the way he manages to be both hilarious and touchingly human is revelatory. Also, seeing Captain Stuebing from the Love Boat as the villain gets me every time.

On Vanessa Bayer's Dating On Demand Video a Good Reminder That the Internet Never Forgets
Actually, my heart goes out to her. She really, really looks like she doesn't want to be there. I kept picturing her mothering standing off camera, after having forced her daughter to do it so she can "get out there and meet somebody nice!"

On Democrats: 'If We're Gonna Lose, Let's Go Down Running Away From Every Legislative Accomplishment We've Made'
Guess there's nothing to do but laugh at the situation. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I hope once a horse is elected to the Senate that every American gets a free pony ride.

On The Larry Sanders Show Was Pretty Much the Best Comedy Ever, and Garry Shandling Knows It
Glad this is on DVD. Some cable channel used to show reruns that were heavily edited, and it sucked.

How to Do Nothing without Really Trying is probably the most important comedy podcast since the dawn of civilization. They're playing it at the Middle East peace talks to calm people down when they run out of ice. http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=353088294

On Revisiting Funny People
Great article about a very under-rated movie. Would've been interesting if you'd touched on the final act, though. A lot of commenters have written that the movie felt "too long", which is possible, but I think it has more to do with just how squirmy and uncomfortable George's and Ira's visit to George's ex's home is. Ira racing to the airport while George hangs out with his ex's kids and tells them that their parents might be divorcing is... I'm searching for the right word here... very raw.
