On Why Whitney is the Best New Network Sitcom of 2011-2012
I've been watching 2 Broke Girls and enjoying it for similar reasons listed above. It's not groundbreaking, pretty cleshay but its just generally an enjoyable show. I may have to check Whitney out and see what the deal is.

On What Non-Comedy Songs Make You Laugh?
Classic song & video here: Suicidal Tendencies - Instutionalized. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoF_a0-7xVQ Some mid 80's early hardcore where the vocalist's lyrics are mostly a teenage angst influenced spoken word monologue about how his parents just need to 'back off' and to give him a chance for once, but in a terribly vague and unfocused manner. It makes for a very amusing song, with the most memorable part being the end of the 2nd verse where "all he wants is a pepsi" when being accused of being on drugs. It has to be seen to really be understood in context.

On Hey Readers: What Do You Want to See More of on Splitsider?
When I first found this site I ended up reading over the latest 100 pages over a couple days, discovering lots of articles and news that I would have never found otherwise. Personally I would like to see more reviews/opinions on new stand up albums/specials. I'm based in the UK so I may be unaware of a lot of commonplace coverage of some of this stuff. But Splitsider is an incredible home and resource for the comedy nerd though the lack of comments on articles makes the site seem like a ghost town.

On Jay Leno Is Not Evil
Really great article, throws such a logical and justified perspective onto things. I've been a devout Conan fan since discovering american late night during the tonight show fiasco (based in the UK, represent!), and it just seems like the way to go is to hate Leno for what he represents, although he would have obviously had to be aware of some incoming level of public backlash for taking TTS back, but what else is new?
