On Letterman's 10 Most Genuine Moments with His Guests

@velveteen71@twitter: Actually, I wasn't solely focusing on his ability to interview. The kernel for this piece came from gauging his reactions, observing chemistry between guests, etc. And when I say 'struggled,' it's my belief that the Letterman of today more closely resembles the type of host he wanted to be from the beginning.

On Letterman's 10 Most Genuine Moments with His Guests

@velveteen71: I respectfully disagree. There's a marked difference between the self-assured Letterman of today compared to who he was in the early 80s. Denying that denies his ability to evolve as an entertainer. Also: I'm certainly entitled to experiencing it this way, and not particularly fond of ad homonym attacks buried at the end of your otherwise reasonable comment. @Cladrite: You make many great points. But my intention, at least originally, was to highlight those moments when Dave appreciated the talent.
