On The Rise and Fall and Fall and Fall of Hipster Bashing

That's why it's such a silly thing to talk about. Hipsters aren't even a real thing. Everything that someone mentions is a hipster thing is really just something that someone they hate does.

On It's Probably Smart to Just Serve Alec Baldwin His Latte with a Smile

@Megh Wright I was a barista too! And I've also been an offended customer - both feelings are the same. And you're right - Jay is probably laughing his shit off right now.

@Carl Hess@twitter I agree that the specifics are dick moves but this post was more a diss at Alec Baldwin for tweeting his complaint altogether. I think he's just as worthy to complain about bad service even though he has a million dollars and a face. And, I know it's just a joke but it kills me that people excuse rudeness because the person has an awful job. I cut disadvantaged people all kinds of slack but it's still annoying to be treated badly, regardless of the status of the person being rude.

Bad customer service is a real pet peeve of mine and so I was reacting to the possibility that he may have actually had a barista with a bad attitude. I think the queen comment (like you said) is what this post should've been about, really.

I wonder if it was your friend that tweeted that, if you would ask him what happened instead of just assuming your friend was being an asshole. Customer service people can be dicks to celebrities too.

On Enough Is Enough With "SNL Isn't Funny Anymore"

He wasn't saying that she improvised those parts. He was saying that her skills as an improviser (and a performer) go a long way to helping stuff like that.
