On Dan Harmon and Chevy Chase Are in the Middle of an Ugly Public Feud

Harmon is this generation's Klaus Kinski. Respect that, fools!

On Dan Harmon and Chevy Chase Are in the Middle of an Ugly Public Feud

I stand shoulder to shoulder with Dan Harmon in this, his time of turmoil. I don't care if he kicks a baby panda in the eye. I'm a Harmon man through and through. He's my pope.

On The Lost Roles of Bill Murray, Part Two

This is bullshit, people. Somebody needs to initiate a Kickstarter campaign to clone 94 perfect copies of Bill Murray in South America. Then that somebody needs to make sure ALL of these movies are made with Bill Murray. In fact, fuck that. Not ambitious enough. We need to create a perfect micro-nation of cloned Murrays and remake ALL movies. Grand Illusion entirely cast with cloned Murrays? Yes, that will happen. The Seventh Seal? For sure. From Here to Eternity? Absolutely. We'll call it The Bills From Brazil, and that somebody should be me. Please note: if you steal my idea, you WILL be fork-stabbed.

On This Week’s Web Series You Need To Watch: Lonny

... and then I watched an episode. Great stuff. I am instantly regretting the beard remark, but there's NO WAY TO EDIT MY COMMENT. Oh, wait. There is. I still have two more minutes. But then... naw. Fuck that. I think I'll watch ep two instead. Lonny!

On Inside Red Letter Media's Obsessively Nerdy Brand of Humor

Two things. First, Red Letter Media is top notch comedy. You'd think the droning shtick would get old quick, but you'd be wrong. Every one of their reviews is worth watching. Second -- and this is their real secret sauce -- the reviews are genuinely insightful in a way that embarrasses most directors, critics, and other M. Night Shamalans who do not know what the fuck they are doing. The reviews are scathing, hilarious, and dead on. Their iPhone app is a little janky, but it gets the content across and the price is right. When they drop a new review, it's like X-mas morning for me.

On It's Always Sunny Recap: "The Gang Gets Trapped"

Internet, please record that Brosef K regretfully casts a nay vote against this episode. Carry on.

On It's Always Sunny Recap: Frank's Brother

In fact, I would have loved to have this ep be a two-parter in as much as it would have been HILARIOUS to see Mack's mom and dad, Charlie's mom, Charlie's uncle, Dennis and Dee's parents all mingle at that disco. All of the insane history of that first Sunny generation, often hinted at and which is cryptic, confusing as hell would have been really fun to see with the current actors in silly hair wigs, disco duds and such. Make it so!

On It's Always Sunny Recap: Frank's Brother

You can also think of this as the Nintendo episode. Mario and Luigi and Shadynasty is Peach. Except in true Sunny fashion, there's attempted murder, Black Panthers, racism, and a coke-fueled sojourn in Columbia. Makes me wish the Sunny braintrust made video games. Having said that, I would have liked to see Charlie's pedophile uncle make an appearance somewhere in those flashbacks.

On It's Always Sunny Recap: Frank's Brother

Erm... How the shizdynasty did you write that entire article and not once make mention of the fact that Jon Polito just happens to play Frank's brother? That guy is a comedy icon and the episode would automatically qualify as a success if all he did was sit there and eat hot wings for 22 minutes. This is a comedy blog, yeah?
